Cosplay Dreams

I am an over-idealistic cosplayer.  I do this for the satisfaction of creation and for the fun of it, but I always want more more more than I can have!  I'm a college student who already spends way too much of her money on cosplay, so cash is tight, but I always want to do the big, expensive designs.  I'm a big girl with the hips and the boobs necessary to cosplay Ursula, but I always end up dreaming after the skinny little waifs wearing next to nothing, or something overelaborate that somehow still leaves nothing to the imagination.  I go to anime conventions, but someday I want to make my own Stormtrooper armor, just to say I've done it.  I

Hellooooooo deviantart.  It's been a long time, hasn't it, sailor?  *long, slow whistle* I was most active on dA in jr high: six, seven years ago, when I was tiny and flaily and completely in awe of everyone artistic ever.  Now I'm in college: taller, more mature, more intellectual, still flaily, still with an inferiority complex about "artists". I want to be more active in the cosplay community rather than hiding in my own corner until conventions roll around again, so I'm reviving my dA account as a cosplay gallery of my work.  You'll see me around, poking my head into people's galleries and commenting on things and getting to know people

animego has tagged me!  *staggers around dramatically*  Here you are, chica.  Sorry it's late. THREE NAMES YOU GO BY: 01 Patti 02 Hey You (this the actual nickname that my sister gave me...I answer to it, so what's the problem) 03 Auntie Patti THREE SCREEN NAMES YOU HAVE HAD: 01 Nimbusfan (started on hexrpg.com, after discovering that someone had already claimed nimbus.  lasted about a year) 02 Cumulonimbus (when I discovered that "nimbusfan" sounded a little weird.) 03 pinkplasticpen (I really have no idea how this started, but I like it a lot.) THREE PHYSICAL THINGS YOU DON'T LIKE ABOUT YOURSELF: 01 My thighs.  Enough said. 02 My

Of course! Thank you for creating so many beautiful cosplays!
Welcome to Love-Stitch! Thank you very much for your wonderful contributions to the group, I plan on making this the best cross-stitch group on Deviant-Art there is! To this end, I am very open to any suggestions you may have that will improve the group’s chances of success. Also if you have any questions or problems, please do direct them to me, and I will do my best to answer and resolve them. Have fun and happy stitching!
Thank you for the watch! I hope I can be interesting!
You are always interesting! I'm sad I missed seeing you at Banzai this year but I love seeing what you've done; you really inspire me as a cosplayer. :) Have you made any progress on the Telma costume you were thinking of doing?
Thank you!
I was everywhere and no where at banzai this year. lol. I was running a lot of events and well...
 Oh my! Thank you! I just do my best. It gives me such warm fuzzies to hear others like my work!
A little. I keep getting side tracked! I've been working on her skirt, but haven't sewn much else. Though I do have all her fabric! Step in a good direction, right? lol
You have such an amazing eye for detail and beautifully consistent quality, I love admiring your work. Your costumes are almost always works of art!
Telma was a beast of a costume for me to finish, so many pieces with so many details. But hey, a step is a step! Do you know which con you're wearing her to yet?
